Delivery by courier, bus cargo, railway goods or our own truck — cost depends on the plants and the method

Landscaping

Restaurants and cafés

Planters, screens and interior greenery that survive service, heat and heavy footfall.

Restaurant planting fails for reasons that have little to do with horticulture. A planter in a service route gets kicked, a plant beside a tandoor cooks, and nobody on the staff rota has watering in their job description.

So we plan around how the room is actually used: screening that divides tables without blocking a server’s line, species that take the heat and the dry air, and containers heavy enough not to wander.

Typical scale

Courtyards, terraces, interiors

Every job is quoted after a site visit. There is no price list for this work — the cost follows the site, the access and the planting.

What the work involves

How this work runs

Screening between tables

Dense evergreen in planters sized so two people cannot shift them — privacy without closing the room in.

Heat and low-light species

Sansevieria, ZZ, aglaonema and areca indoors; bougainvillea and ixora where there is real sun.

Containers that suit the interior

Peshawari clay, painted or plain, or plain nursery pots dropped into your own joinery.

Maintenance on a schedule

Fortnightly or monthly. Plants are swapped rather than nursed back when a spot genuinely cannot support them.

The commonest mistake

Choosing plants from a photograph rather than from the light in the room. Most restaurant interiors are far darker than they feel.

Six stages, every job

You sign off at each one. Nothing is planted before the drawing is agreed.

  1. 01

    Site visit

We come and look. Aspect, soil, drainage, existing trees, what the neighbours’ walls do to the light, and what you actually want to use the space for.

  2. 02

    Plan and quote

A planting plan with species and quantities, and an itemised cost covering plants, materials, labour and delivery. Nothing is ordered until you have agreed it.

  3. 03

    Ground works

Levelling, drainage, bed construction, irrigation lines and hard landscaping. The unglamorous half, and the half that decides whether the garden survives.

  4. 04

    Planting

Stock comes straight from our nursery, so it is not sitting on a lorry for a week first. Planted, staked, mulched and watered in by our own team.

  5. 05

    Handover

A written care schedule for everything planted, and a walk-through so you know what needs doing and when.

  6. 06

    Aftercare

A follow-up visit at one month and three months is included. Ongoing maintenance is optional and quoted separately.
